Vingroup to Invest 60000 Crore in Maharashtra Creating Over 24000 Direct Jobs

Vietnam based conglomerate Vingroup has signed a massive MoU with the Maharashtra government to invest approximately $6.5 billion over the next two years.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that this multi-sector project will span nearly 5,000 acres and is expected to generate around 24,700 direct jobs across the state.

The investment targets sustainable urban development, electric mobility, and renewable energy, alongside a major tourism push featuring an international theme park and safari.

This landmark deal between MMRDA and Vingroup includes the development of smart townships, multi-specialty hospitals, and a comprehensive EV charging network throughout the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
