In 2018, Simon Cowell donated £25,000 (about $32,600) to Humane Society International to help shut down a dog-meat farm in South Korea. 🐶 The donation supported the rescue of over 200 dogs and puppies who were being raised for consumption. It was part of HSI’s #EndDogMeat campaign, which had already closed more than a dozen farms and rescued 1,400+ dogs by that time. The funds helped cover rescue missions, veterinary care, transport, and rehoming to countries like the UK, Canada, and the US. Cowell later said eating dogs is “like eating your friend,” making his stance against the trade clear. The campaign also helped push broader change, as public opinion and government policy in South Korea began moving away from dog-meat farming. A reminder that real impact happens when compassion meets action. ❤️

India surges ahead of Japan to claim the world’s fourth-largest economy spot with a robust $4.18 trillion GDP, as announced by the government on December 29, 2025. This milestone underscores New Delhi’s economic resilience amid 8.2% real GDP growth in Q2 of FY 2025-26. Eyes now turn to 2030, when India is poised to eclipse Germany for the third position, projecting a $7.3 trillion economy fueled by domestic demand, reforms, and optimistic forecasts from IMF and World Bank. A testament to India’s rising global stature. Follow - @tellychakkar #indianews #WorldEconomy #IndiaEconomy #tellychakkar #tcx

Why do people believe that taxing billionaires more is suddenly going to fix all of our problems? In 2025, the federal government spent $1.8 TRILLION more than they made in tax revenue. If we instituted a 100% wealth tax and confiscated all the stock holdings of Elon Musk, Larry Page, Jeff Bezos, Sergey Brin, Larry Ellison, and Mark Zuckerberg you would be able to balance the budget… for one year. What are you going to do the year after that? Assuming a 5% wealth tax per year, taxing those 6 billionaires would raise $94 billion. That means the deficit would be $1.7 trillion instead of $1.8 trillion. Meanwhile all those guys lose control of their companies. What exactly does that solve? We can’t tax our way out of this situation. Cracking down on waste, fraud, and abuse is essential.

🇺🇸 H-1B VISA CRACKDOWN BACKFIRES: BIG TECH HIRED 32,000 WORKERS IN INDIA INSTEAD OF AMERICANS As U.S. H-1B visa rules tightened this year with higher fees and wage requirements, Big Tech responded predictably: they hired offshore instead. Meta, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, Netflix, and Google pushed their combined India workforce to 214,000, the fastest growth in three years. That's 32,000+ new hires that could have gone to Americans. These aren't call center jobs. They're AI, machine learning, cloud engineering, data science, and cybersecurity roles. The exact "strategic" positions policymakers claim we need to protect. The irony is brutal: visa curbs designed to prioritize American workers just made it cheaper and easier for corporations to offshore the same jobs remotely. No visa required. No wage floor. No American hired. This is the loophole nobody closed. You can restrict who comes here to work. You can't restrict who works from there. Until policy addresses corporate offshoring directly, companies will keep doing the math and choosing the cheaper option overseas. American workers keep losing. Quietly. Legally. And nobody in Washington seems to notice. Source: Moneycontrol, MSN

Millie Bobby Brown makes this face for 90% of Stranger Things season 5. It is just weird and good at the same time 😭😂😂😂. I thought she was much more interesting in the first 2–3 seasons. By season 5, she’s more of a side character than a main protagonist.
